Brent Ouellette, Funeral Director / Co-Owner
Brent grew up in Knoxville, Iowa and in high school had a desire to pursue funeral service. He began working at Ankeny Funeral Home while attending college. He received his A.S. degree from DMACC/Ankeny and then moved to Kansas City and worked at McGilley Midtown Chapel while attending Mortuary Science School. After graduating he served his internship at Reece Funeral Home in Ottumwa, Iowa and then returned to Ankeny where he has been privileged to provide funeral service to families for over 25 years.
Brent is a member of the Ankeny Chamber of Commerce, (IFDA) Iowa Funeral Directors Association and (ICCFA) International Cemetery and Cremation Association. He serves on the DMACC Mortuary Science Program Advisory Board, is an Iowa Donor Network advocate, and speaks at local churches, schools, colleges and societies regarding funeral service and pre-planning.
Billy Thomas, Funeral Director / Co-Owner
Billy Thomas is a native of Appanoose County. He is the son of Ron and Roxanne Thomas. He has one sister, Chrissy (Jared) Kirby. Billy married Erin Huisman on June 1, 2013; a native of Ft. Dodge, Iowa.
Billy is a past president and current member of the Centerville Lions Club. He is a member of First United Methodist Church in Centerville, the Masonic Jackson Lodge #42 in Centerville, former board member of the Rathbun Area YMCA and active in the support of local athletics from Grade School to High School kids.
Billy graduated from Centerville High School in 1994, Buena Vista University in 1999 and Worsham College of Mortuary Science in Wheeling, Illinois in 2001. Before opening Thomas Funeral Home in 2007; Billy worked in the Chicago, Illinois, Des Moines and Centerville area. He is a licensed life insurance agent with the State of Iowa and pre-arrangement counselor. He feels his time in the Chicago and Des Moines area gave him knowledge beyond his years on various types of services and tragic situations.

In his spare time, Billy enjoys golfing, exercising, socializing with friends and family and watching his nephews school activities.
